Overview

This project reimagines a title sequence through a darker, more symbolic lens.
Using simplified shapes, looping motion, and sharp transitions, it builds a documentary-style atmosphere around processed food and distorted consumption.

Problem / Challenge

The goal was to create something visually impactful without relying on complex character animation.
The challenge was finding a way to make the sequence feel intentional, unsettling, and polished through simpler motion design methods.

Process

The project began with styleframes to establish tone, typography, and visual rhythm.
From there, custom assets were created in Illustrator and animated in After Effects using looping movement, flicker effects, and controlled transitions.

Design Decisions

A rough, direct visual style was used to support the project’s blunt message.
Simple forms and repeated imagery helped create clarity, while bold typography and contrast kept the sequence feeling cinematic and structured.

Outcome

The final result is a motion-driven title sequence that feels graphic, tense, and conceptually focused.
It became one of the strongest pieces in the project because of its clear style and confident pacing.
